Kevin Piper is a man who is passionate about winning the lost for Jesus. He has committed his life to that cause and not only does he share the gospel, but he realizes the importance of training others to do the same.

I have known Kevin Piper for the past 3-4 years and have been keeping in close and constant contact with him in the 2-3 years via email and telephone (Skype). Kevin has certainly grown a lot in his personal walk with the LORD and also in the ministry that GOD called him into.

The quality that really stood out for me as far as Kevin is concerned is his passion for GOD and his deep desire to reach the lost with the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.

I have been in full time church ministry for twenty years. Some months ago I asked a friend who used the flip charts for street evangelism, based on Ray Comfort's material The Way of the Master, to come and teach our church members how to use this method. He agreed provided we would commit to having a go on the street. I went with him and two others from our church down to Gisborne to join Kevin Piper and the team at the Gisborne A&P show.

The first day of the show I shared the Gospel using a flip chart with over 25 people, which were probably more people in one day than my twenty years of ministry. By the end of the two days I shared the Gospel with over 60 people. What an amazing experience, most of the people were open and very grateful to hear the good news of how they could be certain of going to heaven, one guy with tears in his eyes even wanted to pay me for sharing the gospel with him!

Our small team came home excited about sharing the Gospel. This method is fun, thought provoking and effective. It appeals to the conscience and avoids the argument of the mind and as such has very little confrontation and people open up and engage in a spiritual discussion.

I have been praying for years for God to show me, and the church I'm part of, how to get beyond the hard hearts of Kiwis who say "I've got everything I need, why do I need your Jesus?" I have personally seen this process going beyond the outer walls people put up and reaching them on the inside.

Personally I have gone from being nervous about sharing my faith to having a passion for the lost and looking forward to sharing the gospel on the street!

I thoroughly commend this method to any churches or individual followers of Christ as an effective form of personal evangelism, which can be used in a variety of situations. Kevin Piper, Nigel Baker and the team from Outreach New Zealand are passionate communicators who will inspire and encourage and equip your church members with a simple effective and easy to use tool to reach your town or city. I have worked alongside Kevin and the team and value their integrity and love of Jesus Christ and their compassionate passion for the lost, they walk the talk. What they share is based firmly on experience witnessing to Kiwis, not the latest theory from overseas.

I commend them to you with every confidence and would be happy to speak to any church leader who would like further information. The only warning I would give is that once you embark on this process you will never be the same again!

Re Kevin Piper

My wife and I have known Kevin for 20 yrs or more. In that time we have had much to do with one another having fellowship together in Gisborne and then kept in touch with Kevin and Joanne when they moved to Hawks Bay.

Kevin was involved with my wife and I on Friday nights in an upstairs youth room in the heart of Gisborne city for several months before moving to Hawks Bay to further his photography and we found him to be good value in the area of one on one or group evangelism.

Since Joanne's sad passing we have observed Kevin and his zeal for lost souls (Evangelism has always been Kevin's call ) increase in intensity, especially with the purchasing of his bus and the advent of the "flip chart" phenomenon.

Kevin has been to Levin and other destinations to increase his skills in these areas. He has a good knowledge of the Word of God and is well able to back up from scripture the Word he shares.

Kevin is very approachable and can converse with any age group that he may make contact with. He is also well able to organize and set in motion outreach activities as was shown at the recent Gisborne A & P show and "riverbank" outreach earlier in the year.

Therefore I would have no hesitation in endorsing Kevin in this area of ministry.

I have known and fellowship with Kevin Piper for some 20yrs now.  I recently listened and watched him present an evangelical presentation using "flip charts".

His presentation really penetrates the conscience and leaves the listener with no alternative but to reach out to our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in their fallen state.

I believe he had good success on a recent trip to Sydney and trained several potential evangelists in 'flip chart' and street presentation. Also he had a drop in centre/tent at the Gisborne A&P Show last month where with a team of evangelists he also had good success.
