Reach NZ Heart for the Nation
Mission Statement
|

|
The 'Heart for the Nation Tour' is a major
Evangelism Outreach leaving Napier and heading to the South Island, preaching and teaching as
we go.
Then from Wellington up the West Coast to the
Bay of Islands and down the East Coast finishing in Gisborne in about 12 months - God
willing.
Our mission is to tour New Zealand in a
purpose built House-bus/office with a car in tow, to witness on the streets, and speak
in Churches to raise-up
workers for the harvest and establish a Network for Evangelism Training and
Outreaches.
|
We will be supported on the streets by our Reach Teams and associates from across the country, whenever they are
available.
Heart for the NationItinerary Overview
The cost to get to the South Island is quite high therefore we have split the tour into two
stages.
|
Stage
1: South
Island
The plan God willing, is to start in South
Island for at least three months as the Lord leads, preaching and teaching.
If you or your Church or Home group
would like to us to come and do some training in non-confrontational Street Witnessing,
please contact us ASAP
|

|
|
Stage 2: North
Island
God willing, the plan would be to
continue up the West Coast of the North Island then return down the East Coast, preaching
and teaching, and finish in Gisborne. This will probably take around 6 to 9
months.
You would be welcome to join us at any stage of the tour for a few days, a week or whatever.
Please let me know if you are up for it, or if you know anyone that would be
interested.
We will post a
more detailed itinerary as soon as we can.

Tentative Itinerary
Donations:
Churches involved would be
asked to donate (preferred but not a condition) toward the purchase of tracts for their congregation
members, and sponsorship for the Heart for the Nation Mission.
The Reach Evangelism
Team will be responsible for providing their own tracts and
will be responsible for their own lunches, unless the local supporters arrange something else.
Your feedback on any of the
details and which dates you (or any other evangelists
you know) wish to be involved personally is welcomed.
Blessings,

Your support, both
prayerfully and financially, has made this ministry possible. It is the Lord’s moving in the hearts of partners
like you that has been the greatest testament of God’s faithfulness to the Reach NZ
Ministry.
Sponsorship
We are
seeking sponsors to invest $5-10.00 per week but would gratefully receive whatever the Lord puts on your heart.
This is hopefully an affordable amount that won’t be too sorely missed by you, even if things get a little
tight down the track.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
May the LORD repay you for what you have
done!
May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel,
under whose wings you have come to take refuge."Ruth 2:12

We need missionaries in New Zealand now more than
ever before. The percentage per head of population that are true born again believers here in NZ is
about the same as most 3rd word countries now. Something like 2-5%. And unfortunately the statistics also tell
us that only 2% of those that are saved actively share the gospel message with strangers or friends and
family.
Read | Romans 10:11-15
Since 2004 after hearing God call
my name, I gave God the same message I’ve been repeating ever since: “Here I am Lord, I’m available, use me!
I’ll go to foreign fields if you say so. I'll go where ever You send me”.
Paul asked a series of rhetorical questions in Romans 10 that can be summed up
like this: How will the world hear about Jesus if you do
nothing? God uses Christians to spread the word that His
salvation plan is available to all. He put us in families and communities and nations so we will mingle and
share what we know. But some believers are called to carry the gospel farther than others. Those who stay
behind are to offer prayer and resources for those who travel.
If you’re shaking your head and thinking, Mission work isn’t where my heart is, I
have news for you: Every believer is called to missions as either a goer or a sender (sometimes both). That
call comes in dramatic ways for some, but for most of us, it is simply a biblical principle to be followed
(Matt. 28:19).
What’s missing for those who don’t have a “heart” for such
work is passion. Christians who
share and go and send are often excited about God’s message for unbelievers-and it’s possible for you to become
more enthusiastic too.
I challenge you to ask the Lord, “Am I open to going anywhere You send me?” Our
roots in a community should be sunk only as deep as God wills. If you aren’t
called to go, then choose to be a sender. Offer your prayers, your money, and anything else that will help to
put others on the mission field.
God bless you in
all you are doing to reach the lost.

Quote:
The saving
of souls, if man has gained love to perishing sinners and his blessed master, will be an all absorbing passion
to him. It will so carry him away, that he will almost forget himself in the
saving of others.
He will be like the brave fireman, who cares not for
the scorch of the heat, so that he may rescue the poor creature on whom true humanity has set its
heart.
If sinners will be dammed, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they
will perish, let them parish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled,
at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and un-prayed for.
--Charles H. Spurgeon
