We had an awesome time sharing the gospel with hundreds of people who were very open to hearing the gospel. We pray it bears much fruit for the Wairoa Revaval Crusade, our host church.

Reach NZ was also blessed by Helma and Ian from the Gisborne team with the Outreach Tent in the pictures above. Praise the Lord for His provision.

Our team consisted of Ian White & Helma Hockey from Gisborne. Chris Dunstan from Tauranga. Greg Burton & Ewan Hulse from Cambridge. Awhina Paul & Stev from Morrinsville. Kevin Piper from travelling housebus lol. Michael & Hazel Balfour, Murray Lower & John from Hastings.

2010 Gisborne A&P Show Outreach

Friday 15th & 16th October 2010

The weather had been pretty wet before the show and there was deep mud to contend with all around us. However our team was busy most of the time sharing the good news with the Gisborne community.

Thanks heaps to the Grace Church we were all well looked after throughout the weekend.

The flipchart is just one tool you can use to present the full gospel message. However it does require some pushing through until the anointing comes on you as you preach. But once you experience that you will be adicted.

As long as you clearly present the seven key elements of a biblical gospel message… Sin, righteousness, eternal judgment, heaven & hell, grace, repentance, and faith in the saviour, then you have done all God requires to communicate the most amazing message in the universe.

Tokoroa Training & Cambridge Craft Fair

29th April - 2nd May 2nd

Some of our ReachNZ team did a flipchart training seminar in Tokoroa on Fri & an outreach at the Farmers Market on Sat. We had an awesome time. Ewan, Angela & Kevin continued after the Farmers market near McDonalds & saw about 20 people get down on their knees in the main street in repentance & put their faith in Jesus to save them. Praise the Lord for His grace & mercy.

We also had an outreach at at the Craft Fare in Cambridge & Red Square in Tauranga on Sunday. Our teams had an awesome time sharing the gospel. Praise the Lord revival is here!

 Waverley & Patea - Saturday 27th

The local Churches jointly put on a “DO” for their  two villiages. Including Hip Hop entertainment & a testimony by Sam Tua.

We Arrived Friday evening about 6.15pm and ran a flipchart training seminar at 7.30pm. It was really encouraging to see a great turn out from the local churches.

The Waverley outreach started at 11.00am & we got to share the gospel with many locals throughout the day before heading off to Patea to repeat the process. The locals that we got to share the gospel with were extremly open & receptive. The harvest truely is plentiful!

It was really encouraging to see the Waverly Church purchase two Flipcharts and have a team of about seven that are keen to continue the work in their area.

All in all our hosts were great & it was well worth the long drive from Tauranga & back.

Wow what an awesome time we had. An unbelievable number of people got to hear the gospel & many got down on their knees in repentance & put their faith in Jesus to save them. And now there’s a whole new flipchart team set up in Wanaka to continue proclaiming the gospel, with 3 charts & even one that’s gone to America. Praise the Lord! I’ll give you more detail and testimonies in our next eNewsletter.

Associate Evangelist Testimony: by Isaac Bell.

Greetings

Grace and Peace be to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

Hello my name is Isaac Bell, I’m 17 years old and i live in Hamilton. I'm writing to give and an account to some instances that occurred at outreaches at the Paeroa A&P show and the Tauranga A&P show in Jan 2010.

It was a great day which started early in the morning with the drive over. Me and my Brother Ewan Hulse where driving over from Hamilton having an amazing praise and worship time in the car. Really experiencing the presence of our amazing God, and also interceding for the day ahead of us. We felt like we had broken through and it was looking good.

So we got to the show and set up with the rest of the team there. We set up and started to minister to the people there. I remember one instance of a lady who fell off her horse and hurt her back; she had just come to the tent for a cup of tea. We talked to her and soon found out she had a bad back from the fall. So as the bible says "Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover" We did just that. The Lord healed her (not completely instantly but she felt much better) and blessed her, and the next round she did, I believe she said it was "One of my best!" We gave her a gospel tract too.

Another instance I remember was a response from a certain young man about my age, after hearing the Gospel through the flip chart. He seemed really open and responsive during the whole thing, then at the end i just asked him if he understood what he needed to do to be saved, he replied "Repent and believe". I then asked "Correct! So, when are you going to do it?” He paused and thought, then said with conviction, "Right now". So right there in-front of his friends and other people, he got on his knees and surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. I prayed, and then he prayed. Then the presence of the Lord came. We sat there quietly for about five minutes on our knees in the presence of the Lord. I then asked him how he felt, he said simply "Happier... like ... Lighter". We then took him into the tent and ministered to him about his new life as a Christian. Praise God.

Another instance was similar with 4 young men in their 20's getting on their knees and surrendered their lives to Christ. Then being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Only God knows how all those new creations are going now, but I know that he is their trusty shepherd.

All glory to God for everything he has done, and I sincerely believe God will only move on this earth if we pray!! "Your kingdom come" We are told to pray that. I believe everything that occurred that day was an answer to prayer, and this can happen every day, even greater things in anyone’s life! Greater things than even Jesus Christ did himself on this earth if we just have faith! For his word says it. (John 14:12) God doesn't change for different people.

The bible tells us that. (Acts 10:34, Galatians 2:6) What God did through people like Wigglesworth, Finney and the Wesley he can do it through us if we will let him! Believe God and step out! He is alive and seeking for people who will do it for his Glory! Amen. Blessings,

Your brother in Christ,

Isaac Bell
