Jesus said "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:17-20). When was the last time a stranger talked to you about Jesus? If nobody ever tells YOU about Jesus, how often do you think the average person hears the Truth of the Word of God? While most people claim some religious affiliation, even claim to be Christians, the majority of people in New Zealand today have never been personally led to Christ and have the assurance of salvation. • Note: this is not about becoming an Evangelist... Only some are called to be Evangelists. 
• Evangelists = Their job is to equip the saints to do the work of ministry
• Evangelism = Every believer is called to evangelize, which simply means to be a witness for Christ. Ephesians 4:10-12
