Hi to all the Reach NZ friends and supporters; grace to you
and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
This has been another
amazing month for Reach NZ. We have had so many open doors to preach the gospel it’s hard to
know where to start and far too many to tell you about them all. So here are a few snippets for
your encouragement.
The attachment is to
encourage you to go and preach the true biblical gospel message because time is fast running
out. Please take the time to read it.
This is an
update for the Dannevirke Training Seminar and Outreach with the Hosanna Baptist
Church.
I went with my old friend
Shane Henwood on Friday. A really interesting thing happened as Shane and I were driving there.
We had totally forgotten about this, but 11 years ago the Lord told Shane to fashion four wooden
stakes and we were to go to four specific corners of Dannevirke and bang them into the ground as
an act of obedience. These four stakes represented the seed of the gospel that would produce a
harvest of souls in their due time. Interesting ha!
The training seminar
started at 6.00pm on Friday evening with about 20/30 people from the Hosanna Church which turned
into an awesome prophetic ministry time just as the Lord showed me it would earlier in the week.
I spoke about the Parable of the Sower and did a flipchart demonstration.
Phil Louwrens from
Wanganui gave his testimony about how he got involved in using the flipchart and Shane came
through with a prophetic message for the church and we had an amazing ministry time with almost
everyone receiving a prophecy from the Lord. As the prophetic ministry was happening the others
picked up the 10 mini flipcharts and started practicing with each other. At about 10.00pm a lady
walking past came in to see why the lights were on and one of the new trainees took her through
the flipchart (for his first time) and led her to the Lord. God is so amazing.
On Saturday we only had
three experienced flipcharters there, me, Ray Thompson from Napier and Phil, however we had
about four keen guys from the church that had a go on the Flipchart and they really had a great
time. There was also a man from one of the other churches with Multiple Carouses who
is a paraplegic and yet still shares his faith. He came to the training session on
Friday night and on Saturday joined us for several hours. Glory to God! Charlie and Trudy (the pastors) seemed to be
really blown away with what they saw and they are now very keen to do some more outreaches
using the flipcharts and other methods to reach the lost in Dannevirke.

Update for the Katikati A&P Show Outreach
6th Feb
2011.
Sunday went very well. We started with 4 of us but after lunch
Chris and a couple of others turned up to help. We had a good number of good contacts and
Dave felt it went so well he wanted to go back there Monday. I found the school age kids by
far the easiest to reach with one young girl bringing her Grandparents back to have them go
through the good person test as well.
The day was very hot and we needed more shade and in fact were bringing people in under the Gazebo
with the charts as it became almost too hot to stay out in the sun.
Keith Taylor the pastor I had contacted turned up for some time but the others that promised to
come never showed up. He was quite enthusiastic about what we were doing but had never heard
of Ray Comfort so we gave him Hells Best Kept Secret and some other CD's and videos and tracts we
had with us and encouraged him to take a good look at the Reach NZ website with its resources as
well. Keith said that most of the churches in Katikati were keen on evangelism especially the
new Baptist Pastor out there so it may be a good place to do training in the future if you could
get all the keen ones in all the churches to come together for it
We all felt the day had been very worthwhile with many new people hearing the Gospel. A
number of the locals are trying to get the Show day shifted back to Saturday for next year’s show
which would make it easier to get helpers to come along to do Flipcharting and or prayer for those
who are Flipcharting.
I guess we will see you at Opotiki next Saturday God willing.

Our next
outreach is in Opotiki on the week end of the 12th February, and then our next training seminar is on the weekend of the 4th and
5th of March in Tauranga at Faith Bible College. They will
have completed Julian Bachelor’s Evangelism Strategies course and Reach NZ have been invited
by Julian to do some practical training using the flipcharts to help put what they have

The Flipchart Seminar will
be on Friday followed by an outreach at the Morrinsville A&P Show and at the
Mount.
If you live in the Bay of Plenty this maybe a good opportunity for you to
invite your fellowship to attend the seminar. Or we could do a seminar at your church on the

David's Comment: Could This Be the Beginning of Sorrows?
Matt 24:6-8 "And you will hear of wars and rumors
of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet. "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be
famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. "All these are the
beginning of sorrows. (NKJ)
My comment this week is not a statement - it is simply a question that seems rather relevant
considering the events that are dominating the news in the only 15 days into the new
year. Yeshua rebuked his disciples for not knowing the signs of the times in which they
lived. I believe that we are living at the end of the age, therefore we, even more than the
early Believers need to be aware of and understand the signs of the times we live in.

massive mudslides in Brazil that have killed
more than 600 people and caused millions of dollars damage to infrastructure that they are
saying will take years to recover from
-
massive flooding in Queensland - Australia
that have claimed 16 lives and have caused 13 billion dollars damage to homes, businesses, and
infrastructure
major flooding in Victoria –
Australia
-
torrential rains and flooding in Sri Lanka that killed dozens of people
major snowstorms in Europe and the USA which have caused major turmoil to the travel industry
and cost millions of dollars in lost revenue to airlines and other the general business
sector

a 7.3 earthquake off the coast of Chile
-
a 7.2 earthquake in
Pakistan
As these occurrences are being reported, the media is
saying "it is the coldest winter in 50
years" or "this is the country’s worst disaster in 100
years".
Then there are these very strange occurrences that were
reported in the first 2 weeks of 2011. These are definitely unusual to say the
least.........

SEVERAL HUNDRED dead birds fell from the sky in Texas
-
THOUSANDS of birds fell from the sky in central Arkensaw
-
500 birds fell from the sky in Louisiana
-
100's more birds fell from the sky in Kentucky
-
2 MILLION fish have washed ashore in the Chesapeake Bay Area
-
100,000 fish lie dead in the Arkansas River...covering 20 linear miles. 99% of the
fish are only one kind called Drum fish.
-
100 TONS of fish dead in the waters off of Parana`, Argentina
-
TENS of THOUSANDS of dead birds fell to the ground in Manitoba,
Canada.
-
40,000 crabs are washed ashore in the UK... Jan 6.
-
10,000 ANTELOPE lie dead in Kazakhstan... these 10,000 represent 1/4 of the total global
population of this animal.

The BEES are dying out in unprecedented numbers...
-
8,000 Doves that fell over the skies of Italy, and all had strange blue markings on their
beaks.
-
In Sweden, a mere 100 birds fell to the ground... Jackdaw Crows.
I don’t think I am being overly dramatic to ask
the question "could we have crossed a
threshold? Could these events be a sign that the World has already entered into the
'beginning of sorrows’?" or "Could these events have any
connection to way the world is treating Israel?" As 2011 began five South American countries officially recognized the non
Biblical "Palestine". Russia has now joined the line up and Norway is set to follow
suit and I believe we will see nation after nation will follow suit. This is a direct
affront to the God of Israel. In Joel
3:1 He warns “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives
of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of
Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My
heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My
land. Even more severe is the warning
in Isaiah 60:12. For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and
those nations shall be utterly ruined.
That is a significant
warning that no country or church can afford to ignore. Unfortunately as British author Melanie
Phillips states in the video clip that I recommended in last week’s comment, almost the entire
world (including much of the Church) have a "delusional perspective" of the Arab / Israeli
conflict, and after 43 years of being lied to by the Arab world, the politicians, the intelligence
and the media, the great majority of people are now "impervious to the truth." This
turning around of truth is not restricted to Israel. The world is also deluded about
abortion, homosexuality, evolution and global warming issues.
What I am sure of is that if the world has not already entered the
'beginning of sorrows', it will not be very long before these tumultuous times do befall planet
Earth. No amount of prayer will prevent it. It is written and the course has been set.
However that does not mean we do not pray and intercede in the hope of saving as many of our
family, friends, neighbors, work-mates, the people in our churches, and even people we don't know
personally, from the great shaking that seems to be already taking place, and is going to escalate
to un-imaginable proportions as the God of Israel pours out His
wrath.
As well as prayer we need to invest the
resources God has granted us in our lives to attempt to re-educate those who have been
deluded.
The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by
standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of
Israel. Let’s pray that Israel will turn back to their God. Do not be silent, but share
this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to
speak to. Let’s also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray
for all of the soldiers in the IDF - they are defending and fighting for the Kingdom of
God.
