God Confirms
His Word with Signs &
Wonders

In January 2008 I went on a call out as an observer with an Ambulance service in
Hawkes Bay, for a man who had had a heart attack.
After a total of 55 minutes with no response, 8 shocks from
the jumper leads & 3 adrenalin shots etc, the Paramedic team decided they
couldn't do any more for him and pronounced him
dead.

I must say, the Ambo officers did a fantastic job and were visibly emotionally moved that they were
unable to do any more for him. This is where it got really interesting. I clearly felt God tell me
to pray for him. I really didn't know what to do, however as a believer and follower of Christ I
had to do something so after a little debate with the Lord about it being appointed once for a man
to die then face judgment, I thought I should do what I felt God tell me to do, and pray for
him.
So as the paramedic team began to put all the equippment away and cover him up while we waited for
the Coroner I quietly nelt down at the dead mans feet and prayed for him that God would give him an
opportunity to receive salvation before it was too late.
In the mean time his son turned up while we were waiting for the Police, and the Chief
Paramedic told him his father had died. However, 15 minutes later while waiting for the
Coroner, the patient began making movements that a dead guy shouldn’t be making,
which made them a little concerned.
By this time the Police had arrived and because they don't put dead people in Ambulances and also
not wanting to give the son of the dead man any false hope, we asked them if it was OK
if we quickly put the man back in the Ambulance to find out what was going on, which they
agreed. We shut the door and checked his stats; and to their surprise they
found a strong pulse and he was breathing. He was alive! Praise the
Lord!
None of the Paramedics could believe it, and one told me he had 35 years experience as an
Ambulance Officer and had never seen or heard of this happening before. The other two
Officers had about 15 years experience each and had never seen anything like it
either. Having filled out a death report they now had to re-started everything as
though he was a new patient, and we rushed him to hospital.
When we arrived at the hospital the Doctor told us that if he didn't know what we had just
told him, looking at his stats he would have thought he had an excellent chance of pulling through,
but none of them expected him to make it out of the emergency room because of the time that had
passed with no oxigen. I continued to pray for him and text everyone I could think og to help
pray/. I then bound the spirit of death and released the healing power of God. Throughout
the day I checked on him and prayed for him again when taking other patents to the emergency room,
and found he was still doing OK. When my shift finished at 6pm I was told he had been moved
to the ICU and was still doing great, much to their surprise
.
Apparently what happened to this man actually has a name; although very rear it is called
the Lazareth Syndrome
.
Sacked before I even got started
I was due to start training as an Ambulance Officer the following Wednesday, but about 3 hours
before it started I received a call from them telling me it had got back to them that I had given a
testimony at church on Sunday and thereby breached their confidentiality clause and basically
sacked me before I could start.
Initially I was stunned as I hadn’t given any details that could identify anyone or whatever, but
they had obviously made up their mind. I was on my way to see them to sort it out, but after
seeking the Lord He told me I had done all He wanted me to do and should drop the
idea of becoming an Ambulance Officer, what could I say but YES Lord, and His peace filled my
heart.
After seeking His will as to what I should do next I felt the Lord confirm I should precede
with the 7 week OAC School of Evangelism in Levin, even though this didn’t make
any financial sense, but again the peace of God filled my heart.
The Lazareth Guy is Alive!
I was unable to follow up the Lazareth guy because of the The great news is that the following
Sunday a lady at church told me her sister is a nurse and she had told her the Lazareth guy is now
up and walking around – Glory to His Name!!!!
Please pray for him and his families
